A new film titled 'Taskar in Bihar' (Smuggler in Bihar) has been launched in Amas block of Gaya district. The film will focus on child crime, liquor smuggling, and the lives of children affected by these activities. The launch ceremony took place during the Samdarshi Film Award-2026 event, with Dr. S. Samdarshi and Shivangi announcing the project.

'Taskar in Bihar' aims to bring to the screen the stories of children whose dreams are suppressed by an environment of addiction and crime. The film will depict the social consequences of liquor smuggling and its adverse effects on children. This initiative by Dr. S. Samdarshi and Shivangi is being lauded for blending social awareness with entertainment. The film seeks to deliver a powerful message of awareness against addiction and crime.

The event commenced with the lighting of a lamp. Writer and director Chandrabhushan Mani was honored, and artist Ranjan Pathak hosted the program. Amarendra Singh Bihari will direct the film. Under the Samdarshi banner, there are plans to produce several other social films, including 'Vish Aur Vishwas' (Poison and Trust), 'Power of Law', 'Beti Ka Sangharsh' (Daughter's Struggle), 'Pita Ka Rahasya' (Father's Secret), and 'Mitti Ki Kasam' (Promise of the Soil). Artists and film industry professionals present at the ceremony emphasized the need for films that spread awareness. The launch of 'Taskar in Bihar' has generated considerable excitement among audiences.
