किशोरी को इतनी ऊंचाई पर देख परिजनों और ग्रामीणों में अफरातफरी मच गई। उन्होंने उसे समझाने और नीचे उतारने की काफी कोशिश की, लेकिन वह अपनी जिद पर अड़ी रही। उसकी मांग थी कि जिससे वह प्रेम करती है, उसी से उसकी शादी कराई जाए। सूचना मिलने पर मनातू थाना प्रभारी विक्की कुमार भी मौके पर पहुंचे और किशोरी को समझाने का प्रयास किया।
जब कोई बात नहीं बनी, तो उसके प्रेमी को मौके पर बुलाया गया। प्रेमी किशोर ने भी उसे नीचे उतरने के लिए समझाया। आखिरकार, परिजनों और ग्रामीणों ने शादी कराने का आश्वासन दिया, जिसके बाद किशोरी नीचे उतरने के लिए राजी हुई। लगभग एक घंटे तक चले इस हाई वोल्टेज ड्रामे के बाद किशोरी सुरक्षित नीचे उतर आई, तब जाकर सभी ने राहत की सांस ली। बताया जा रहा है कि किशोरी और किशोर दोनों ही नाबालिग हैं।
