A tragic road accident occurred on Wednesday evening at Kani Morh under Khesar police station in Banka district, resulting in the death of a 13-year-old boy. The victim, identified as Divyanshu Singh, son of Deepak Singh, a resident of Kani Morh, was hit by an e-rickshaw. His family is in deep shock and grief following the incident.

According to reports, Divyanshu Singh was standing with his bicycle near Kani Morh on Wednesday evening when a speeding e-rickshaw, coming from the direction of Khesar, struck him forcefully. The impact caused the teenager to fall onto the road, sustaining severe injuries. Local villagers quickly gathered at the scene and rushed the injured Divyanshu to the Phullidumar Community Health Center for treatment. Despite efforts by the doctors, he could not be saved due to critical head injuries, including a fractured skull, and other severe injuries to his body.

The Khesar police station was informed and officers arrived at the spot, seizing the e-rickshaw involved in the accident. The police took custody of the deceased's body and sent it to Sadar Hospital, Banka, for post-mortem examination. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident and the role of the e-rickshaw driver. The Station House Officer stated that further legal action is being pursued in the case.
