To strengthen the education system in Bihar, quarterly examinations for students of classes 9th and 10th, and monthly examinations for Intermediate (11th and 12th) students have commenced. In this sequence, the first day of these examinations in the Teghra sub-division of Begusarai district concluded peacefully.

Under the guidelines issued by the Bihar Education Project Council, the primary objective of these examinations is to assess students' learning progress and prepare them for upcoming board examinations. While the quarterly exams for 9th and 10th graders provide an opportunity to solidify their understanding at the secondary level, the monthly exams for Intermediate students help them regularly evaluate their preparation at the higher secondary level.

Students at various examination centers in Teghra solved their question papers under strict supervision. No untoward incidents were reported on the first day of the examination, which is a positive sign for the education department and local administration. Teachers and examination invigilators ensured a malpractice-free environment in the examination halls.

This examination system will assist students in regular study and understanding examination pressure. Additionally, it provides an opportunity for teachers to identify students' weaknesses and give special attention to overcome them. The successful conduct of these examinations is considered an important step towards raising the standard of education in the state. The examinations will continue until July 6, after which the evaluation process will begin, and students will receive feedback on their performance.
