Three individuals tragically lost their lives in a horrific road accident on the Mokama-Bakhtiyarpur four-lane highway in Patna district on Monday morning. The deceased have been identified as residents of Khagaria district. According to preliminary information, the three victims were returning from Patna to Khagaria when their car met with the accident.

The impact was so severe that the vehicle was completely mangled, trapping all three occupants inside. Upon receiving the information, a team from Mokama Police Station immediately rushed to the scene and initiated rescue operations. Mokama Station House Officer (SHO) Kunal Kumar stated that the car's condition was so dire that extracting the trapped individuals was extremely challenging.

Police personnel had to use cutters to dismantle parts of the car to extricate the bodies after considerable effort. The victims were immediately transported to the Mokama Trauma Center, where doctors, after preliminary examination, declared them dead.

The exact cause of the accident remains unclear. Police are currently investigating whether the collision was caused by an unidentified vehicle or if the driver fell asleep, leading to the vehicle losing control. All three bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and their families have been informed of the tragic incident.
