A tragic incident occurred on Sunday morning in Nadokhar village, Kaimur district, where a three-year-old girl, Divyanshi Kumari, drowned in a pond. Divyanshi, daughter of Deepak Sharma, a resident of Nadokhar village in Kudra police station area, was playing near a Durga Pandal.

Around 8 AM on Sunday, while playing, she accidentally fell into a nearby pond. As soon as the news of her drowning spread, her family and villagers immediately began searching for her. After considerable effort, she was pulled out of the water.

The family rushed Divyanshi to Mohania Hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead. Divyanshi was the youngest of two sisters. Her mother, Lakshmi Devi, and other family members are in deep shock and grief.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Mohania police arrived at the hospital. The police have sent the body for post-mortem examination to Sadar Hospital, Bhabhua. Mohania Station House Officer Alok Kumar stated that an investigation into the matter is underway.
