जानकारी के अनुसार, मानसी स्टेशन से ट्रेन खुलने के बाद चोर ने एक यात्री का मोबाइल छीनने का प्रयास किया। लेकिन यात्री सतर्क थे और उन्होंने फुर्ती से चोर को पकड़ लिया। चोर मोबाइल छीनकर भागने की कोशिश कर रहा था, तभी यात्रियों ने उसे दबोच लिया और वह चलती ट्रेन की खिड़की से बाहर लटक गया। यात्रियों ने उसे अंदर खींचने के बजाय, उसे उसी हालत में करीब 10 किलोमीटर तक आगे बढ़ाया। इस दौरान चोर लगातार रहम की भीख मांगता रहा, लेकिन यात्रियों ने उसे नहीं छोड़ा।
ट्रेन जब खगड़िया स्टेशन पहुंची, तब जाकर यात्रियों ने चोर को प्लेटफॉर्म पर उतारा और तत्काल इसकी सूचना रेलवे पुलिस (GRP) को दी। घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही जीआरपी की टीम मौके पर पहुंची और चोर को हिरासत में ले लिया। पुलिस ने बताया कि चोर से पूछताछ की जा रही है और उसके अन्य साथियों के बारे में भी जानकारी जुटाने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। इस घटना का वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर तेजी से वायरल हो रहा है, जिसमें चोर को ट्रेन की खिड़की से लटका हुआ देखा जा सकता है। यह घटना यात्रियों की सूझबूझ और एकजुटता का परिणाम है, जिसने एक चोर को सबक सिखाया।
