A tragic road accident occurred on Saturday at a petrol pump complex located at Sanhaula Block Chowk in Bhagalpur district. A truck driver, who had come to refuel, was hit by another truck that was being reversed. In the accident, the wheel of the truck ran over the driver's leg, leaving him seriously injured. The injured driver has been identified as Vinod Chaudhary (approximately 40-45 years old), a resident of Ikhtiyarpur Vikram police station area in Patna district.

According to information, Vinod Chaudhary had arrived at the petrol pump at Sanhaula Block Chowk in his truck to refuel. After parking his truck, he went to a nearby tea stall for tea. After drinking tea, as he was returning towards the petrol pump while talking on his mobile phone, he was hit by a truck that was being reversed within the premises. The truck's wheel ran over his leg, causing him to fall to the ground with serious injuries.

Following the incident, with the help of local villagers and the police, the injured driver was immediately taken to Sanhaula Community Health Center. After first aid there, doctors, considering his serious condition, referred him to Mayaganj Hospital in Bhagalpur for better treatment.

The accused truck driver fled the scene with his vehicle after the accident. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter and are examining the CCTV footage from the petrol pump to identify and apprehend the truck involved in the accident and its driver.
