An unidentified body was found floating in the Kareh River near the Bariayahi Ghat bridge, under the Biroul police station area, causing a stir among local residents. Locals spotted the body and immediately informed the Biroul police. Upon receiving the information, police rushed to the scene and began efforts to retrieve the body from the river.

Eyewitnesses reported that the body was severely decomposed, making identification difficult. A large crowd gathered on the bridge and along the riverbank to witness the scene. With the help of local divers and villagers, the police successfully retrieved the body. After completing the necessary legal procedures, the body was sent to Darbhanga Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for post-mortem examination.

Police stated that the identity of the deceased remains unknown. They have circulated information to nearby police stations to check for missing persons reports and are examining the body's clothing and other distinguishing marks for clues. Authorities suspect the body might belong to someone who drowned elsewhere and was carried by the river current, or it could be a victim of an accident. The exact cause of death will only be determined after the post-mortem report. Police have urged the public to contact Biroul police station if they have any missing family members. The incident has become a major topic of discussion in the Bariayahi Ghat area.
