वैशाली जिले के महुआ-समस्तीपुर मुख्य मार्ग पर तीसीऔता थाना क्षेत्र में बीती रात एक भीषण सड़क हादसा हो गया। एक तेज रफ्तार ट्रक और सीएनजी टेंपो के बीच हुई आमने-सामने की टक्कर में टेंपो सवार दो मजदूरों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई, जबकि पांच अन्य लोग गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। हादसे के बाद घटनास्थल पर चीख-पुकार मच गई और अफरा-तफरी का माहौल बन गया।
पुलिस और स्थानीय लोगों से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार, टेंपो में सवार सभी सात लोग प्रवासी मजदूर थे, जो हरियाणा में मजदूरी करते थे और त्योहारों के कारण अपने घर लौट रहे थे। मृतकों में से एक की पहचान तीसीऔता थाना क्षेत्र के डभइत गांव निवासी 25 वर्षीय अमरजीत मांझी के रूप में हुई है। अमरजीत के परिवार में तीन साल की बेटी और 15 दिन पहले जन्मा नवजात बेटा है।
प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों ने बताया कि दुर्घटनास्थल के पास सड़क किनारे खड़े एक ट्रक को ओवरटेक करने के प्रयास में टेंपो सामने से आ रहे एक अन्य अज्ञात ट्रक की चपेट में आ गया। अज्ञात ट्रक चालक वाहन सहित मौके से फरार हो गया। हालांकि, पुलिस ने इन दावों की आधिकारिक पुष्टि नहीं की है और मामले की वैज्ञानिक व तकनीकी जांच की जा रही है। एहतियात के तौर पर घटनास्थल पर खड़े संदिग्ध ट्रक को पुलिस ने कब्जे में ले लिया है।
टेंपो में कुल सात लोग सवार थे। घायलों में शंभू मांझी (50 वर्ष), सुकुल मांझी (50 वर्ष), नीतीश कुमार (19 वर्ष) और टेंपो चालक लक्ष्मण राय (40 वर्ष) शामिल हैं। लक्ष्मण राय भी डभइत गांव के ही रहने वाले बताए जा रहे हैं। घायलों को इलाज के लिए हाजीपुर सदर अस्पताल भेजा गया है।
हादसे की सूचना मिलते ही तीसीऔता थाना पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची। पुलिस ने स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से घायलों को अस्पताल पहुंचाया और दोनों मृतकों के शवों को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए सदर अस्पताल भेज दिया। दुर्घटना के कारण महुआ-समस्तीपुर मुख्य मार्ग पर कुछ समय के लिए यातायात बाधित रहा। पुलिस ने क्षतिग्रस्त वाहनों को हटाकर यातायात सुचारु कराया। पुलिस फरार ट्रक और उसके चालक की पहचान के लिए सीसीटीवी फुटेज खंगाल रही है और दोषियों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई का आश्वासन दिया है।

However, the police have not officially confirmed these claims and are conducting a scientific and technical investigation into the matter. As a precautionary measure, the police have seized a suspicious truck found at the accident site.
There were a total of seven people in the ill-fated CNG tempo. The five injured include Shambhu Manjhi (50), Sukul Manjhi (50), Nitish Kumar (19), and tempo driver Lakshman Rai (40), who is also reportedly from Dabhait village. The injured have been admitted to Hajipur Sadar Hospital for treatment.
Upon receiving news of the accident, Tisiauta police immediately arrived at the scene. With the help of locals, the police transported the injured to the hospital and sent the bodies of the two deceased for post-mortem examination. The accident caused traffic disruption on the Mahua-Samastipur main road for several hours. Police cleared the damaged vehicles to restore normal traffic flow and are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the absconding truck and its driver, vowing strict action against those responsible.
