Veer Kunwar Singh University (VKSU) has approved a proposal to establish an independent Home Science department within its Postgraduate (PG) campus. This decision by the university administration is considered a significant step for students and academics alike. The approval of this proposal means that students pursuing higher education in Home Science will now have a dedicated and well-equipped department, which will foster their studies and research activities.

Previously, Home Science studies were conducted under another department, often leading to a perceived lack of resources and specialization. By being established as an independent department, Home Science will be able to develop to its full potential. It will facilitate the establishment of modern laboratories, specialized libraries, and the appointment of experienced faculty, all of which will help provide quality education to students.

University Vice-Chancellor and other senior officials have welcomed this initiative.
