In a shocking incident in Rampur village, Amethi Tola, under the Wazirganj police station area of Gaya district, a woman and her son were brutally attacked in their home on Saturday evening. Unidentified assailants, allegedly armed with sticks and iron rods, broke into the house and launched a deadly assault. The victims have been identified as Latruminia Devi and her son, Arvind Yadav, both of whom sustained severe injuries. The attackers are also accused of snatching a gold chain during the incident.

Latruminia Devi (wife of Ramashish Yadav) has filed a written complaint at the Wazirganj police station, naming Kishori Yadav, W Yadav, Rajkumar Yadav, and others as the perpetrators. According to her statement, around 4 PM on Saturday, while she was at home, the accused forcibly entered her residence, verbally abused her, and then began to assault her. When her son, Arvind Yadav, intervened upon hearing his mother's cries, he too was attacked with sticks and rods.

Latruminia Devi suffered serious head injuries and a fractured hand, while Arvind also sustained multiple wounds. The woman reportedly fainted due to excessive blood loss. The victim further alleged that the attackers stole a gold chain weighing approximately 10 grams from her neck.

After committing the crime, the assailants fled the scene. Family members and local villagers rushed the injured to the Wazirganj Community Health Center (CHC) for immediate medical attention. Due to the severity of her head injuries, Latruminia Devi was subsequently referred to Magadh Medical College and Hospital, Gaya, for advanced treatment.

Wazirganj Station House Officer (SHO) Neeraj Kumar confirmed that a written complaint has been received, and an FIR has been registered. Police have initiated an investigation into the matter and assured that strict legal action will be taken against the culprits after their identification.
