आरा शहर के टाउन थाना क्षेत्र के बरहबतरा मोहल्ले में शुक्रवार को एक दर्दनाक हादसा हुआ, जिसमें करंट लगने से 40 वर्षीय महिला रिशा देवी की मौत हो गई। वह बकरी चराने के लिए बगीचे में गई हुई थीं, तभी एक खुले बिजली के तार की चपेट में आ गईं।
मृतका के पति सुनील प्रसाद ने बताया कि शुक्रवार शाम को रिशा देवी बरहबतरा मोहल्ले स्थित बगीचे में बकरियां चरा रही थीं। बगीचे में नीचे गिरे हुए बिजली के तार में करंट प्रवाहित हो रहा था, जिसकी चपेट में आने से वह गंभीर रूप से झुलस गईं। सूचना मिलते ही परिजन मौके पर पहुंचे और उन्हें आनन-फानन में इलाज के लिए सदर अस्पताल ले गए। हालांकि, अस्पताल पहुंचने से पहले ही उन्होंने दम तोड़ दिया। सदर अस्पताल में चिकित्सकों ने उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया।
घटना की जानकारी स्थानीय थाने को दी गई, जिसके बाद पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भिजवाया। रिशा देवी अपने पीछे दो पुत्रियों, मानती कुमारी और कांति कुमारी, तथा दो पुत्रों, बोलबम और विक्की को छोड़ गई हैं। इस घटना के बाद से परिवार में मातम पसरा हुआ है और सभी सदस्यों का रो-रोकर बुरा हाल है।
A tragic incident occurred in Ara city's Barhabatra mohalla under Town Police Station on Friday, where a 40-year-old woman, Risha Devi, died due to electrocution. She had gone to a garden to graze goats when she came into contact with a live, exposed electric wire.
According to her husband, Sunil Prasad, Risha Devi was grazing goats in the garden located in Barhabatra mohalla on Friday evening. A live electric wire was lying on the ground in the garden, and she was severely electrocuted after coming into contact with it. Upon receiving the information, family members rushed to the spot and immediately took her to the Sadar Hospital for treatment. However, she succumbed to her injuries on the way to the hospital. Doctors at Sadar Hospital declared her dead upon arrival.
The incident was reported to the local police station. Police arrived at the scene and sent the body for post-mortem examination. Risha Devi is survived by two daughters, Manti Kumari and Kanti Kumari, and two sons, Bolbam and Vicky. The family is in deep shock and mourning following the tragic loss.
