A shocking incident has come to light in Nawada district, where the body of a married woman was recovered from under the sand in the Dhanarjay River. The discovery was made when stray dogs began digging near the riverbank, exposing a part of the body. Local residents promptly informed the police.

According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Kajal Devi (22), wife of Mukul Kumar, a resident of Sarma village within the Pakribarawan police station area. Kajal Devi's family has alleged that she was murdered. They stated that Kajal was married to Mukul Kumar of Sarma village a year and a half ago. Since the marriage, her in-laws had been harassing her for dowry. The family claims that her in-laws murdered her and buried the body in the sand to conceal her identity.

In this case, the deceased's father has filed a murder complaint at Pakribarawan police station against four people, including her husband Mukul Kumar, father-in-law, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law. Police acted swiftly, taking the deceased's husband, Mukul Kumar, into custody for questioning. Raids are also being conducted to apprehend the other accused.

The police, who arrived at the scene, took the body into custody and sent it to Nawada Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examination. Police officials stated that the exact cause of death would be known only after the post-mortem report is received. This incident has caused a stir in the entire area, and people are demanding justice. The police are seriously investigating the matter and considering all aspects.
