A serious road accident occurred on the Bihta-Sarmera National Highway-131, leaving a young motorcyclist critically injured. The incident took place when a tractor collided with a motorcycle on NH-131. The collision was severe, resulting in grievous injuries to the bike rider.

According to local residents and eyewitnesses, the tractor was speeding and suddenly hit the motorcycle, causing the rider to fall onto the road. Panic ensued at the scene immediately after the accident. People nearby rushed to assist the injured youth.

The injured youth was promptly taken to a local hospital. After receiving initial treatment, given his critical condition, he was referred to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Patna. He is currently undergoing treatment at AIIMS, and his condition is reported to be critical.

Following the incident, traffic on NH-131 was disrupted for some time but was normalized after the arrival of local police. The police have seized the tractor from the scene, although the tractor driver is reported to have fled. The police are investigating the matter and are searching for the absconding driver.

This accident once again highlights the dangers of violating road safety rules and speeding vehicles. There is a demand from the local administration to take appropriate measures to prevent such accidents in the future.
