In a startling incident reported from Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur district, a youth sustained serious injuries after falling near a railway track while attempting to snatch a mobile phone on Monday. The incident occurred near the Jag Baba railway track in Kahalgaon.

The youth, identified as Mohammad Farhan, a resident of Rajganj in Pirpainti police station area, was reportedly snatching a mobile phone from a passenger on a special train. While fleeing after the snatching, he lost his balance and fell onto the railway tracks, sustaining severe injuries.

Upon receiving information from villagers, the 112 police team promptly arrived at the scene. They rushed the injured youth to Kahalgaon Sub-Divisional Hospital, where he was treated by Dr. A.K. Ansari. The police are currently investigating the matter and gathering all relevant information related to the mobile snatching incident. They are also trying to ascertain if Farhan has been involved in similar incidents previously.
