A tragic incident unfolded near Daiyakhadwar village in the Lakhnaur police station area of Madhubani district, where a 12-year-old boy drowned in the Kamala River. The unfortunate event occurred while the student was bathing in the river. The entire area is gripped by sorrow following the incident, and the victim's family is in deep distress.

According to reports, the deceased student, identified as a resident of Daiyakhadwar village, had gone to bathe in the Kamala River with some friends. While bathing, he ventured into deeper waters and began to drown. His friends present there attempted to save him and raised an alarm, but by the time people arrived at the scene, it was too late.

With the help of local residents, the boy was pulled out of the river and immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Upon receiving information about the incident, Lakhnaur police reached the spot, took the body into custody, and sent it for post-mortem examination.
