Students affiliated with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) staged a strong protest at Ramjaypal College in Danapur on Wednesday, expressing their discontent with the college administration. The activists burned an effigy of the principal and raised slogans like 'Remove the Principal, Save the College,' highlighting various issues faced by students.

Deepak Kumar, ABVP's divisional convenor, alleged that students at the college are deprived of basic facilities. He pointed out a severe lack of essential amenities such as drinking water, functional toilets, and proper sanitation. Kumar further stated that a significant shortage of teaching and non-teaching staff is adversely affecting academic activities.

He also accused the college administration of inefficiency, noting that students face long queues and delays for every task, from fee submission to obtaining certificates. Kumar criticized the principal for allegedly adopting an arbitrary and dictatorial approach. The ABVP warned that if their demands are not addressed and college problems are not resolved within the next 15 days, they would be compelled to launch a larger agitation. They affirmed their commitment to student welfare and readiness to escalate their protest if necessary. The demonstration saw a large turnout of students and ABVP office-bearers.
