बांका जिले के अमरपुर स्थित उत्कर्ष स्मॉल फाइनेंस बैंक की शाखा में रविवार को अचानक आग लग गई। बैंक के अंदर से धुआँ निकलता देख स्थानीय लोगों ने तुरंत इसकी सूचना बैंक प्रबंधन और अग्निशमन विभाग को दी। सूचना मिलते ही अग्निशमन दल की टीम मौके पर पहुँची और तत्परता दिखाते हुए आग पर काबू पाया। समय रहते आग बुझा दिए जाने से बैंक में रखे महत्वपूर्ण कागजात, कंप्यूटर और अन्य सामान जलने से बच गए, जिससे एक बड़ा हादसा टल गया।
प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार, आग लगने का कारण शॉर्ट सर्किट बताया जा रहा है। बैंक के अंदर से धुआँ निकलते ही आसपास के इलाके में हड़कंप मच गया था। स्थानीय लोग बड़ी संख्या में बैंक के बाहर जमा हो गए। अग्निशमन दल के जवानों ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए बैंक के अंदर प्रवेश किया और आग बुझाने का काम शुरू किया। लगभग आधे घंटे की मशक्कत के बाद आग पर पूरी तरह से काबू पा लिया गया।
बैंक प्रबंधन ने बताया कि आग से कोई बड़ी क्षति नहीं हुई है, क्योंकि समय रहते आग पर नियंत्रण पा लिया गया था। हालांकि, कुछ छोटे-मोटे सामान और बिजली के उपकरण प्रभावित हुए हैं। बैंक अधिकारियों ने अग्निशमन विभाग और स्थानीय लोगों का उनके सहयोग के लिए आभार व्यक्त किया। इस घटना से एक बार फिर व्यावसायिक प्रतिष्ठानों में अग्नि सुरक्षा उपायों की समीक्षा की आवश्यकता महसूस की जा रही है।
A fire broke out at the Utkarsh Small Finance Bank branch in Amarpur, Banka district, on Sunday. Local residents noticed smoke emanating from inside the bank and immediately informed the bank management and the fire department. Bank management stated that no major damage occurred due to the timely containment. They expressed gratitude to the fire department and local residents for their cooperation.
