Amarkpur police in Banka district have arrested six individuals who were absconding in various criminal cases. The arrests were made during a special operation based on confidential information. The arrested individuals include Mohammad Jumer and Sarif Mian from Dauna village, Manoj Mandal from Sijhua, Maheshwar Tanti and Munna Tanti from Salempur, and Deepak Das from Pawaidih.

All these individuals had warrants issued against them by the court and had been at large for a long time. Following their arrest, the police brought them to the police station and completed the necessary legal procedures. They underwent medical examinations and were then presented before the Banka court. By order of the court, all six were sent to Banka Divisional Jail under judicial custody.

Amarkpur Police Station इंचार्ज Rakesh Kumar stated that continuous campaigns are being conducted to apprehend criminals and absconding warrant holders. He emphasized that the search for those absconding in cases with court warrants has been intensified, and no accused attempting to evade the law will be spared. Such operations will continue to maintain law and order and effectively control crime in the area.
