A massive fire broke out late Wednesday night at a cake shop located in Amnour market, within the Amnour police station area. The blaze resulted in the destruction of goods worth approximately 10 lakh rupees, including cash. Fire tenders, upon receiving the information, rushed to the spot and managed to bring the fire under control after considerable effort. Fortunately, the fire did not spread to nearby shops and houses, which could have led to a much larger disaster.

According to reports, the fire suddenly erupted at Satyam Cake House on Thana Road late Wednesday night. The intensity of the fire was such that it was difficult to control despite initial efforts. Fire brigade vehicles reached the scene after being informed and began extinguishing the fire. After much struggle, the flames were brought under control, but by then, all the shop's contents had been reduced to ashes.

Shop owner Vishwas Kumar stated that he had closed his shop for the night and gone home. Late at night, neighbors called him to inform him about the fire. He reported that the fire caused damage estimated at around 10 lakh rupees, including four freezers, an inverter, batteries, and cash. Given the ferocity of the fire, there was a risk of flames spreading to nearby shops and residential buildings in the market. However, fire personnel managed to contain the fire in time, averting a major catastrophe. Police also arrived at the scene upon receiving the information and inspected the site.
