In Bhojpur district, police raided a gambling den in Agiaon village, under the Garhani police station, arresting three individuals. The arrested gamblers have been identified as Bhanu Pratap Singh of Agiaon, Aman Kumar Singh of Baligaon (Ayir police station area), and Rakesh Kumar Gupta of Garhani (Charpokhari police station area). Police recovered three decks of cards, ₹29,850 in cash, and three mobile phones from their possession. This operation was part of an ongoing campaign against illegal gambling and other unlawful activities, conducted under the directives of Superintendent of Police Awadhesh Dixit. The police received a tip-off on Saturday evening about gambling activities at Bhanu Pratap Singh's residence, leading to the raid and arrests. A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against the three under the Bihar Gambling Act.

In a separate incident, the Muffasil police station conducted a raid in Mahuli village and seized 30 grams of heroin from a house. However, the accused, identified as Mickey Singh, managed to flee the scene upon sensing the police presence. A press statement released by the Superintendent of Police's office confirmed that the raid was based on intelligence about Mickey Singh possessing narcotics at his residence. During the search, heroin was found in his room. An FIR has been filed against Mickey Singh under the NDPS Act at the Muffasil police station.
