Several areas in Araria city will experience a two-hour power outage on Saturday, July 25. The electricity department has issued this notice due to conductor stringing work on the 33 KV New Zero Mile Feeder. The power cut will be effective from 10 AM to 12 PM.

Areas connected to the 11 KV New Town Feeder, 11 KV Zero Mile Feeder, and 11 KV Chandradei Feeder, which operate from the Araria Urban Power Sub-station, will be affected. Consumers on these three feeders will face approximately two hours of power disruption. According to the electricity department, this shutdown is essential to ensure safety standards during technical work on the 33 KV New Zero Mile Feeder and to make the power system safer and more efficient. Power supply will be normalized on the respective feeders once the work is completed.

Assistant Electrical Engineer Vikas Kumar stated that this work is crucial for consumer safety and uninterrupted power supply. He appealed to the public for cooperation, urging them to complete daily electricity-related tasks like running water pumps and charging electronic devices before the scheduled period. The department has also requested consumers not to pay attention to any rumors during the shutdown and to maintain patience until power supply is restored. Minor time adjustments are possible based on work progress and technical conditions, but the department assures that power supply will be normalized immediately after the work is completed.
