A significant three-hour power cut is scheduled for Araria district due to conductor stringing work on the new 33 KV Zeromile feeder. Electricity supply will be suspended in several areas of Araria from 11 AM to 2 PM on Friday.

Assistant Electrical Engineer Vikas Kumar stated that during the maintenance, the 33 KV Kushiyar village feeder and 33 KV Bochi feeder will be shut down. All 11 KV feeders originating from these two main feeders will also be without power, affecting supply to their respective service areas.

Power department officials have urged consumers to complete essential tasks before the scheduled outage. This includes filling water, charging mobile phones and other electronic devices, and finishing any electricity-dependent household or commercial work. The department emphasized that this work is crucial for improving and ensuring the safety of the power infrastructure, aiming to provide better service to consumers in the future.
