Araria, Correspondent. The election for the Araria branch of the Bihar Police Men's Association concluded peacefully and unopposed on Thursday. As only one candidate filed nominations for each post, there was no need for voting, and the entire executive body was declared elected unopposed. The newly elected office-bearers were administered the oath of office and secrecy late on Thursday night after the completion of the election process.

According to the pre-scheduled program, nominations were to be filed on Thursday and voting was set for October 31 at the Police Lines. However, during scrutiny, with only one nomination found for each post, the election officials declared all candidates elected unopposed.

The announced results show Constable Subhash Kumar Yadav elected as President. Constable Shubham Singh was elected Vice-President, and Constable Md. Jahangir Adil as Second Vice-President. Additionally, Constable Sandeep Kumar Paswan was chosen as Secretary, Constable Ritesh Kumar Jha as Treasurer, Constable Nilesh Kumar as Joint Secretary, Constable Ramgulel Kumar as Central Member, and Woman Constable Smita Kumari as Auditor.

Following the formal announcement of the election, an oath-taking ceremony was organized at the Police Lines. Prashant Kumar, State Vice-President and Observer of the Association, Brajesh Kumar, State Treasurer and Observer, and Dina Nath Kumar, Saharsa District President and Chief Election Officer, administered the oath to the newly elected office-bearers and handed over their certificates. As the results were declared, jawans present at the Police Lines welcomed the new representatives with garlands and congratulated them.

The formation of the new executive body has created an atmosphere of enthusiasm among the police personnel. Jawans expressed hope that the new team will strongly raise issues related to police housing, allowances, duty hours, and welfare schemes before senior officials and work diligently towards their resolution.
