In Araria, the District Congress Committee staged a strong protest against the central government on Wednesday, condemning the police lathi-charge on students protesting against paper leaks in Delhi and the alleged mistreatment of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and other MPs. Led by District President Masoom Reza, Congress workers marched from the District Congress Office at Gandhi Ashram to Chandni Chowk.

During the protest, Congress workers demanded the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. District President Masoom Reza alleged that the continuous paper leaks in the country are jeopardizing the future of millions of students. He stated that instead of addressing the students' demands, the government is attempting to suppress their voices through police action. Reza strongly condemned the alleged police action against students, calling it an attack on democracy. He urged the central government to resolve students' issues and effectively curb incidents like paper leaks.
