Life in Araria has been severely affected by intermittent rains over the past five to six days. Heavy downpours led to deserted streets in the district headquarters by around 8 PM. People were seen using plastic and other makeshift coverings to reach their destinations. Continuous rainfall has waterlogged several city roads, disrupting traffic, and forcing residents in many areas to stay indoors due to water accumulation.

The daily wage earners and lower to middle-income groups are most impacted by the incessant rain. With work halted due to the continuous bad weather, they face a livelihood crisis. Markets also witnessed fewer crowds compared to normal days.

According to the Meteorological Center's forecast, light to moderate rainfall with thunder, lightning, and strong winds is expected in the district on July 23. Over the next five days, the maximum temperature is predicted to range between 29 to 30 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature between 25 to 26 degrees Celsius. Winds are expected to blow from the east, later shifting to the northwest, at a speed of 10 to 15 kilometers per hour. The weather department has predicted cloudy skies and continuous rainfall.

Given the risk of lightning strikes, people are advised not to tie livestock under trees and to harvest ripe crops, storing them safely. The administration has also urged residents to avoid unnecessary outdoor travel during adverse weather and to adhere to weather-related warnings.
