A dispute over the payment of treatment costs for a newborn at a private hospital in Mahavir Tola, under Arrah's Town police station area, escalated into an assault on the child's father. Sikandar Kumar, a resident of Dulhiganj village, sustained a fractured leg in the violent altercation and is currently receiving treatment at Arrah Sadar Hospital.

According to the Superintendent of Police office, Sikandar Kumar had brought his newborn for treatment on October 23. On the evening of October 29, as he was taking his child home, a disagreement arose with hospital staff regarding the bill payment. Kumar alleges that the staff then pushed and assaulted him, resulting in his leg fracture.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Town police immediately arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. Prompt action was taken, and a First Information Report (FIR) was filed on Friday night against the hospital owner and several staff members. Police have stated that further legal proceedings have commenced, and strict action will be taken against those found responsible.
