A startling incident has come to light in Arrah, Bhojpur district, where a vegetable vendor was bitten by a snake. Displaying remarkable courage, the victim killed the snake and then brought it to Sadar Hospital, Arrah, for treatment. This incident has become a topic of discussion in the area.

According to information, the incident occurred in Anait Mathia village, under the Town police station area of Arrah city. Shambhu Prasad Sah, a 55-year-old resident, was bitten by a snake last night while he was sleeping in his home. As soon as he realized he had been bitten, Shambhu Prasad Sah reacted swiftly, caught the snake, and killed it.

After killing the snake, Shambhu Prasad Sah placed it in a box and, accompanied by his family, arrived at Sadar Hospital, Arrah. Doctors immediately began his treatment. The purpose of bringing the snake along was to enable doctors to identify its species and administer the correct anti-venom, thereby ensuring effective treatment for the patient.
