अरवल में धूमधाम से मनी विजयादशमी, पहलेजा और बैदराबाद में हुआ रावण दहन

अरवल जिले में मंगलवार को विजयादशमी का पर्व पारंपरिक उत्साह, श्रद्धा और उल्लास के साथ मनाया गया। जिला मुख्यालय के बैदराबाद से लेकर मेहंदिया प्रखंड के पहलेजा और कुर्था के ग्रामीण इलाकों तक उत्सव का माहौल रहा।
बैदराबाद रामलीला मैदान और पहलेजा स्थित वैष्णो गुफा मंदिर परिसर में रावण दहन के भव्य कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए गए। इन आयोजनों को देखने के लिए बड़ी संख्या में लोग पहुंचे। पहलेजा में 30 फीट ऊंचे रावण के पुतले का दहन किया गया, वहीं मोतीपुर बाजार में लंका दहन के साथ दुर्गापूजा का समापन हुआ। पुतला दहन से पहले भगवान राम और रावण के युद्ध तथा रावण वध का मंचन किया गया, जिसके बाद पुतलों में आग लगाई गई। रावण दहन होते ही पूरा परिसर 'जय श्रीराम' के जयकारों से गूंज उठा। इस दौरान बच्चों, महिलाओं और बुजुर्गों में खास उत्साह देखा गया, लोगों ने अपने मोबाइल में इस दृश्य को कैद किया।
कार्यक्रम को शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से संपन्न कराने, भीड़ को नियंत्रित करने और यातायात व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के लिए पुलिस प्रशासन की ओर से सुरक्षा के कड़े इंतजाम किए गए थे। जिले के विभिन्न पूजा पंडालों में श्रद्धालुओं ने मां दुर्गा के दर्शन कर सुख-समृद्धि की कामना की।
मेहंदिया प्रखंड के पहलेजा स्थित वैष्णो गुफा मंदिर परिसर में दूसरी बार रावण वध कार्यक्रम का आयोजन हुआ। इसकी शुरुआत पहलेजा दुर्गा मंडप से निकली नौ देवियों की आकर्षक झांकी के साथ हुई। शाम 6 बजे भगवान राम की भूमिका निभा रहे अंजनी कुमार ने प्रतीकात्मक रूप से रावण का वध किया, जिसके बाद 30 फीट ऊंचे पुतले को मुखाग्नि दी गई। आतिशबाजी और जय श्रीराम के नारों के बीच कार्यक्रम संपन्न हुआ। इस मौके पर पुलिस निरीक्षक अजय कुमार और मेहंदिया थानाध्यक्ष मनोरंजन कुमार पुलिस बल के साथ तैनात रहे।
बैदराबाद रामलीला मैदान में विजयादशमी पर रावण दहन को लेकर लोगों में विशेष उत्साह दिखा। दोपहर बाद से ही आसपास के गांवों और दूर-दराज के क्षेत्रों से लोग पहुंचने लगे थे और शाम होते-होते मैदान में भारी भीड़ जुट गई। रामलीला के पात्रों द्वारा युद्ध मंचन के बाद रावण के पुतले का दहन किया गया। सुरक्षा और यातायात व्यवस्था सुचारु रखने के लिए पुलिस बल मुस्तैद रहा।
कुर्था प्रखंड के मोतीपुर बाजार में मंगलवार को लंका दहन के साथ दुर्गापूजा का समापन हुआ। इस अवसर पर कुर्था बाजार सहित ग्रामीण इलाकों में श्रद्धालुओं की भीड़ उमड़ी। लंका दहन के माध्यम से समाज में बुराई पर अच्छाई की जीत का संदेश दिया गया।
Dussehra was celebrated with traditional enthusiasm, devotion, and joy across Arwal district on Tuesday. The festive atmosphere extended from Baidrabad in the district headquarters to rural areas of Paileja in Mehandia block and Kurtha.
Grand effigy burnings of Ravan were organized at Baidrabad Ramlila Maidan and the Vaishno Gufa Temple complex in Paileja, attracting large crowds. A 30-foot-tall Ravan effigy was incinerated in Paileja, while in Motipur Bazar, Durga Puja concluded with the burning of Lanka. Before the effigy burning, scenes depicting the battle between Lord Ram and Ravan, and the slaying of Ravan, were enacted. As the effigies were set ablaze, the entire area resonated with chants of 'Jai Shri Ram'. Children, women, and the elderly showed particular excitement, capturing the spectacle on their mobile phones.
Rigorous security arrangements were made by the police administration to ensure the peaceful conduct of the events, crowd control, and traffic management. Devotees also visited various puja pandals across the district to seek blessings from Maa Durga for happiness and prosperity.
In Paileja, the Ravan Vadh program was held for the second time at the Vaishno Gufa Temple complex. It commenced with an attractive tableau of nine goddesses from the Paileja Durga Mandap. At 6 PM, Anjani Kumar, playing the role of Lord Ram, symbolically slew Ravan, followed by the ignition of the 30-foot-tall effigy amidst fireworks and chants of 'Jai Shri Ram'. Police Inspector Ajay Kumar and Mehandia Station House Officer Manoranjan Kumar were present with police forces.
Baidrabad Ramlila Maidan also saw immense enthusiasm for Ravan Dahan. Crowds from nearby and distant villages began arriving in the afternoon, filling the grounds by evening. The effigy was burnt after battle enactments by Ramlila characters. Police forces maintained security and traffic flow.
