Bihar's Home Department issued an official notification on Saturday, announcing a significant administrative reshuffle involving the transfer of six police officers, including five IPS officers.

Senior IPS officer Ratna Sanjay, a 1998 batch officer who returned early from central deputation, has been appointed as the Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order). Additionally, he has been given the additional charge of ADG, Prohibition and State Narcotics Control Bureau. With this new arrangement, DG Training Nirmal Kumar Azad has been relieved of his additional charge of the Prohibition and State Narcotics Control Bureau.

Among other key appointments, K. Suhita Anupam, who previously held the responsibility of ADG, Law and Order Department, will now take charge as the Additional Director General of Police, CID (Weaker Sections). Navjot Simi, who was serving as the SP of Arwal district, has been transferred and appointed as SP in CID.

Changes have also been made at the district police level and other positions. Kiran Kumar Gorakh Jadhav, who was serving as the Aide-de-Camp to the Governor, has been appointed as the new SP of Arwal district. Chandraprakash, Commandant of Bihar Special Armed Police (BSAP)-10, Patna, has been transferred and made the new City Superintendent of Police for Patna Central. Furthermore, Bihar Police Service officer Mamta Kalyani, who was previously holding the charge of City Superintendent of Police for Patna Central, has been given command of the Commandant post at BSAP-10, Patna.
