They highlighted that with the festive season approaching, the non-payment of honorarium is creating significant problems for their families. The protesters unanimously demanded immediate payment of their outstanding dues and concrete steps to prevent such delays in the future.

A memorandum detailing their demands was also submitted to the officials of the Community Health Center. The memorandum warned that if their demands are not addressed promptly, they would be compelled to intensify their agitation. A large number of ASHA workers and other contractual staff participated in the protest, appealing to the government and the health department for immediate action on this serious issue. They cautioned that if their demands are ignored, they might resort to an indefinite strike.
