A tragic road accident in Babubarhi, Madhubani district, resulted in the death of a tractor driver when his vehicle overturned. The incident occurred while the driver was attempting to save a motorcyclist. The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Arjun Mukhia, originally from Gidrahi village in Andhratharhi police station area, but residing at his in-laws' house in Bhatgama, Babubarhi.

According to reports, Arjun Mukhia was returning to his in-laws' home in Bhatgama from Babubarhi market on Sunday. Near Ganeshpur Chowk on Harlakhi Road, a motorcyclist suddenly appeared in front of his tractor. In an effort to avoid hitting the motorcyclist, Arjun swerved sharply, causing the tractor to lose control and overturn on the roadside. Arjun was trapped under the overturned tractor and died on the spot.

Upon receiving information, local residents and the police arrived at the scene. The police took custody of the body and sent it to Madhubani Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The incident has plunged the deceased's family into deep grief. Arjun Mukhia leaves behind his wife and two young children. His family is inconsolable. Local residents described Arjun as a hardworking individual who drove a tractor for his livelihood. The police are investigating the matter.
