बेगूसराय जिले के बछवाड़ा थाना क्षेत्र में नशे की हालत में हंगामा कर रहे एक युवक को पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। घटना रानी दो पंचायत के बेगमसराय गांव की है। पुलिस को गुप्त सूचना मिली थी कि बेगमसराय गांव में एक युवक नशे में उपद्रव मचा रहा है। सूचना मिलते ही बछवाड़ा थाना पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और बेगमसराय गांव निवासी रामप्रसाद साह के 36 वर्षीय पुत्र मंजेश साह को गिरफ्तार कर लिया।
थानाध्यक्ष विकास कुमार राय ने बताया कि गिरफ्तार युवक मंजेश साह के खिलाफ मद्य निषेध अधिनियम के तहत प्राथमिकी दर्ज की गई है। पूछताछ के बाद सोमवार को उसे न्यायिक हिरासत में बेगूसराय भेज दिया गया। पुलिस ने समाज में शांति व्यवस्था बनाए रखने और नशे के खिलाफ अभियान जारी रखने की बात कही है।
