The deplorable condition of the Balathi-Parwalpur road has made life difficult for the villagers in the region. Even with light rain, the road becomes a muddy mess, making it extremely challenging for pedestrians and vehicles to pass. Local residents state that this road connects several villages, and its poor state causes them daily hardships.

According to information, a project worth Rs 1.85 crore was sanctioned for the construction of this road. After the tender process was completed, the work was supposed to be finished by April 2026. However, despite reaching July 2026, the road construction work remains confined to paper, with no progress visible on the ground. This situation raises serious questions about the functioning of the local administration and the concerned department.

Villagers reported that the situation worsens significantly during the monsoon season. Potholes on the road fill with water and mud, increasing the risk of accidents. Students face difficulties reaching school, and sick people struggle to get to hospitals. Often, ambulances cannot even reach the village, putting patients' lives at risk in emergencies.

Despite repeated appeals to local representatives and the administration, no solution to this problem has emerged. Villagers are now demanding government intervention so that the construction of this important road can begin as soon as possible, freeing them from this miserable existence. They warn that if no action is taken soon, they will be forced to resort to protests.
