Banka | A one-day rural training camp-cum-workshop was organized by the Labor Superintendent's office on Thursday at the auditorium of the Joint Labor Building, Telia. This program was conducted under the directives of the Labor Commissioner, Bihar, Patna, with the objective of disseminating information about labor laws and welfare schemes to workers in rural and unorganized sectors. The workshop saw participation from one worker from each panchayat of the district.

The training workshop was inaugurated by Labor Superintendent Nikhil Kumar Ranjan. On this occasion, he urged the workers to be vigilant about their rights and to avail the benefits of the various schemes run by the department. During the camp, Labor Enforcement Officer Ranjan Kumar Sinha provided detailed information on the Child and Adolescent Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act. The initiative aims to educate workers about their legal rights and available government assistance, enabling them to utilize this knowledge for improved living and working conditions.
