बिहार के बांका जिले में सांप काटने की अलग-अलग घटनाओं में तीन लोगों की दर्दनाक मौत हो गई है। इन घटनाओं में दो महिलाएं और एक बच्चा शामिल है। ये मामले बेलहर और फुल्लीडूमर प्रखंडों से सामने आए हैं, जहां लोगों को सांप ने काटा और समय पर इलाज न मिलने या जहर के तेजी से फैलने के कारण उनकी जान चली गई।
पहली घटना बेलहर थाना क्षेत्र के नयाचक गांव में हुई। यहां 45 वर्षीय शांति देवी को रविवार की रात घर में ही सांप ने काट लिया। परिजनों ने उन्हें तुरंत बांका सदर अस्पताल पहुंचाया, लेकिन वहां पहुंचने से पहले ही उनकी मौत हो चुकी थी। डॉक्टरों ने जांच के बाद शांति देवी को मृत घोषित कर दिया, जिससे परिवार में मातम पसर गया।
दूसरी घटना फुल्लीडूमर थाना क्षेत्र के डरमा गांव में घटी। यहां 35 वर्षीय मीना देवी को भी रविवार की रात सांप ने डस लिया। मीना देवी को भी गंभीर हालत में बांका सदर अस्पताल लाया गया। हालांकि, अस्पताल पहुंचने के बाद डॉक्टरों ने उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया। इन दोनों महिलाओं की मौत से उनके परिवारों को गहरा सदमा लगा है।
तीसरी दुखद घटना भी फुल्लीडूमर थाना क्षेत्र से ही सामने आई है। यहां 8 वर्षीय एक बच्चे को सांप ने काट लिया। बच्चे को तत्काल बांका सदर अस्पताल ले जाया गया, लेकिन अस्पताल पहुंचने से पहले ही उसकी मौत हो चुकी थी। इस घटना से पूरे इलाके में शोक की लहर है।
स्थानीय प्रशासन और स्वास्थ्य विभाग इन घटनाओं पर संज्ञान लेते हुए लोगों से अपील कर रहा है कि वे सांप काटने पर तुरंत नजदीकी स्वास्थ्य केंद्र या अस्पताल जाएं और झाड़-फूंक के चक्कर में न पड़ें। मानसून के मौसम में सांपों का निकलना बढ़ जाता है, ऐसे में लोगों को अपने घरों और आसपास साफ-सफाई रखने और सतर्क रहने की सलाह दी जा रही है।

In the first incident, 45-year-old Shanti Devi from Nayachak village, under Belhar police station, was bitten by a snake inside her home on Sunday night. Her family rushed her to Banka Sadar Hospital, but she was declared dead upon arrival, succumbing to the venom before receiving medical aid.
The second fatality occurred in Darma village, Phullidumar police station area. Meena Devi, 35, was also bitten by a snake on Sunday night. She was transported to Banka Sadar Hospital in critical condition but was pronounced dead by doctors shortly after reaching the facility.
The third victim was an 8-year-old child from the Phullidumar police station area. The child was bitten by a snake and, despite efforts to get medical help, passed away before reaching Banka Sadar Hospital. These incidents have cast a pall of gloom over the affected communities.
Local authorities and the health department are urging residents to seek immediate medical attention at the nearest health center or hospital in case of a snakebite, cautioning against traditional remedies. With the increased presence of snakes during the monsoon, people are advised to maintain cleanliness around their homes and remain vigilant.
