A free eye check-up camp will be organized on September 28 at the Old Shiva Temple complex in Barbigha, on the occasion of the first death anniversary of social worker E. Paras Babu from Danapur Maur. The camp will run from 10 AM to 4 PM. Dr. Nimmi Rani, director and renowned eye surgeon at Drishtikunj Netralaya, Saguna Mor DS Business Park, Patna, is leading the organization of this event.

The camp is being held in service of E. Paras Babu's memory. His daughter-in-law, Dr. Nimmi Rani, and sons, orthopedic specialists Dr. Nishikant Kumar and Dr. Shivendra Kumar, are playing key roles in the event. The primary aim is to provide medical facilities to needy people. Patients attending the camp will receive eye examinations and medical consultations. Organizers believe that timely check-ups and treatment can help in identifying and addressing vision-related problems.

During the camp, approximately 1000 needy patients from Maur, Barbigha, and surrounding areas are targeted for free eye surgeries. Alongside eye check-ups, free spectacles and medicines will also be distributed to those in need. Organizers Dr. Shivendra Kumar and Dr. Nishikant Kumar stated that the main objective of the camp is to provide eye care facilities to economically weaker and underprivileged individuals.
