Two minor girls, who were abducted from the Bathnaha police station area in Sitamarhi district, have been safely rescued from Jalandhar, Punjab. Police have also arrested two abductors in connection with the case. According to reports, the two minor girls were forcibly abducted from Meena Bazaar in Bathnaha. Their families immediately lodged a complaint at the Bathnaha police station, prompting swift action from the police.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Har Kishor Rai stated that a special team was formed after the kidnapping case was registered at Bathnaha police station. This team utilized technical evidence and intelligence to track down the culprits. During the investigation, it was discovered that the abductors had taken the girls to Jalandhar, Punjab.

Working in coordination with local police in Jalandhar, the Sitamarhi police team conducted a raid. Both abducted minors were successfully rescued, and two individuals involved in the kidnapping were apprehended. The arrested abductors are currently being interrogated and are being brought back to Sitamarhi on transit remand.

SP Rai announced that all police personnel involved in this successful operation would be rewarded. He also assured that those who commit crimes against minors would not be spared. The families have expressed their gratitude to the police administration for the safe return of their children. The community has lauded the swift action of the police.
