In Begusarai, over 4.74 lakh applications have been approved under the Chief Minister Women Employment Scheme. So far, 4,59,095 applicants in the district have received the first installment of ₹10,000 each. This includes 31,078 applicants from urban areas. This information was shared during the live broadcast of the state-level 'Samriddh Mahila–Samriddh Bihar Abhiyan' program from Bapu Sabhagar, Patna, which was screened at Kargil Vijay Sabhagar, Begusarai.

During the launch of the scheme, the Chief Minister transferred funds to the accounts of 5 lakh women beneficiaries. Additionally, loans were distributed to 10,000 beneficiaries from the Jeevika fund, and work commenced on the construction of 112 rural haats under the 'Viksit Bharat–G Ram Ji Yojana'. A Memorandum of Understanding was also signed between Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya and the Prohibition, Excise, and Registration Department.

District Magistrate Richi Pandey, Deputy Development Commissioner Akash Chaudhary, Ballia Sub-Divisional Officer Ajay Kumar, Jeevika District Project Manager Avinash Kumar, and many Jeevika Didis were present at the Begusarai event. The DM stated that in today's program, 2,455 Jeevika Didis from Begusarai received ₹10,000 each as the first installment, and 6,282 applicants received ₹20,000 each as the second installment. The Deputy Development Commissioner highlighted the scheme's role in empowering women economically and strengthening rural livelihoods, stating that it supports the local economy and increases family incomes.
