Mohammad Sabir, a quilt and mattress businessman residing in Zindpur, under the Veerpur police station area in Begusarai district, has leveled serious allegations against the Veerpur police. He has submitted a written application to the Superintendent of Police (SP), seeking justice and demanding an impartial investigation into the matter.

According to Sabir, he was assaulted a few days ago, sustaining a head injury. He also claims that extortion was demanded from him. In connection with this incident, he had filed a complaint against Mohammad Mokarram and two other named individuals, along with two unknown persons. Sabir alleges that despite the severity of the incident, crucial sections related to extortion and grievous injury were not included when the First Information Report (FIR) was registered.

Sabir further claims that the Veerpur police station operates under the influence of middlemen. He asserted the presence of some suspicious individuals within the police station premises on July 23 and has demanded an investigation into their mobile numbers, the Station House Officer's (SHO) call detail records, and the CCTV footage of the police station. Additionally, Sabir accused the SHO of snatching his brother's mobile phone and engaging in abusive and indecent behavior. He has warned that if he does not receive timely justice, he will be compelled to go on a hunger strike with his entire family.

In response to these accusations, Veerpur SHO Raju Ranjan Kumar has categorically denied all allegations. He stated that both parties have filed FIRs against each other for assault, and the police are conducting a completely impartial investigation into the case.
