The West Champaran district unit of the Communist Party of India (CPI) organized a significant meeting at its office in Bettiah. The meeting was convened in response to the nationwide call regarding the NEET paper leak incident. Party leaders and workers paid tribute to the deceased students and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

Key demands raised during the meeting included providing adequate compensation to the families of the deceased, unconditional release of arrested students, and withdrawal of cases filed against them. Additionally, there was a strong demand for making the examination system completely transparent and withdrawing the education policy of 2025.

Speakers emphasized that the struggle of students and youth across the country represents a major victory for democracy. They stated that this movement has clearly shown that the youth of the country desire a secure future, quality education, equal opportunities, and a fair and transparent examination system, rather than politics of hatred. Leaders also highlighted that approximately 30 percent of the country's population comprises youth aged 18 to 28, who are democratically struggling for better education, employment, and the security of their future.

The CPI leaders termed this movement a symbol of strengthening democratic values, asserting that the unity of students and youth has proven that positive change is possible through organized struggle on public interest issues. The party urged the government to implement extensive reforms in the education system and take concrete steps to ensure the reliability of competitive examinations.

Following the conclusion of the meeting, a victory procession was taken out from the party office to celebrate the triumph of democracy. The procession passed through various routes of the city and reached Shaheed Park, where floral tributes were offered to the statues of immortal martyrs of the freedom struggle. On this occasion, party leaders and workers welcomed the success of the student-youth movement, emphasizing the need to protect democratic rights and maintain transparency in the education system.
