A tragic incident has occurred in Bhagalpur where a 12-year-old boy was fatally struck by a train while crossing railway tracks to deliver food to his mother. The accident took place near the eastern cabin of Bhagalpur Junction, leaving the community in shock.

The deceased boy has been identified as Mohammad Amir, a resident of Karhadiya village in the Lodipur police station area of Bhagalpur. Amir was on his way to deliver food to his mother, who works near the junction. Unfortunately, as he was crossing the tracks, he was hit by a speeding passenger train. The impact was so severe that Amir died on the spot, his body dismembered, a horrifying sight for those present.

Upon receiving information about the incident, local police and the Railway Protection Force (RPF) immediately arrived at the scene. The police took custody of the body and sent it for post-mortem examination to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Hospital in Mayaganj, Bhagalpur. The boy's family is engulfed in grief, with his mother inconsolable. According to family members, Amir was a hardworking and obedient child who often helped his mother by delivering food.

This incident once again highlights the issues of safety on railway tracks and public negligence. People often cross tracks unsafely in haste or to take shortcuts, leading to such accidents.
