Neha's father had gone to Ludhiana to find a match for his daughter and had to bid a final farewell upon his return. Neha's last rites were performed at Tintanga Ghat on Saturday after her father arrived. Local residents are outraged over the non-arrest of any accused in the Neha murder case. In protest against the incident, Sadhuwa Bazar remained closed for the second consecutive day. Locals have demanded the establishment of a police outpost or regular deployment of police forces near Sadhuwa Bazar and Kataria railway station.
