पुलिस को गुप्त सूचना मिली थी कि अगिआंव गांव स्थित भानुप्रताप सिंह के घर में कुछ लोग ताश से पैसे का जुआ खेल रहे हैं। इस सूचना की पुष्टि होने के बाद, पुलिस टीम ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए उस स्थान पर छापा मारा। छापेमारी के दौरान, पुलिस ने जुआ खेलते हुए भानुप्रताप सिंह (46), राकेश कुमार गुप्ता और अमन कुमार सिंह को रंगे हाथों पकड़ा। गिरफ्तार भानुप्रताप सिंह अगिआंव के निवासी हैं, जबकि राकेश कुमार गुप्ता गड़हनी और अमन कुमार सिंह बलिगांव के रहने वाले हैं।
अगिआंव गड़हनी थाना में कांड संख्या-128/26, दिनांक 04 अक्टूबर 2026 दर्ज किया गया है। गिरफ्तार आरोपियों पर बिहार जुआ प्रतिषेध अधिनियम, 2026 की धारा 3/4 के तहत कानूनी कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी गई है। भोजपुर पुलिस ने यह भी बताया कि अवैध जुए के खिलाफ उनका अभियान आगे भी जारी रहेगा।

Legal action has been initiated against the arrested accused under Sections 3/4 of the Bihar Gambling Prohibition Act, 2026. Bhojpur Police stated that their campaign against illegal gambling would continue.
