A startling incident has come to light from Supaul district in Bihar, where an Anganwadi helper's bank account suddenly showed a balance exceeding ₹740 crore. The incident occurred when the helper, identified as Pinky Kumari, visited a Customer Service Centre (CSS) to withdraw a mere ₹2100 from her account.

Pinky Kumari, a resident of Maheshpur village under Pipra police station in Supaul district, stated that when she checked her account at the CSS, she was shocked to see an enormous sum of ₹7,40,68,07,678 displayed on the screen. Initially, she thought it might be a technical glitch or an error by the operator, but repeated verifications confirmed the same amount. Following this incredible discovery, the CSS operator also informed the bank.

Pinky Kumari explained that she is an ordinary Anganwadi helper with a very modest monthly income. The appearance of such a massive amount in her account is entirely mysterious to her. She stated that she had never seen such a large sum in her life nor had she conducted any transactions of this magnitude. She also clarified that she has no business or trade that could generate such a large sum in her account.

This incident has caused a stir among Pinky Kumari and her family. People are bewildered about the origin of this money and its implications. Bank officials have been informed of the matter and urged to investigate. This case has now become a topic of discussion across the district.
