Dhanbad: Bihar Transport Minister Damodar Rawat was warmly welcomed by the Janata Dal (United) district unit at the Dhanbad Circuit House on Monday. Damodar Rawat is officially listed as the Transport Minister on the Bihar government's website. The welcome program was led by Dhanbad district JDU president Pintu Kumar Singh, where party leaders and workers greeted the minister with bouquets.

During the visit, extensive discussions were held regarding the expansion of JDU's organizational structure in Jharkhand and strengthening the party at the grassroots level. District president Pintu Kumar Singh stated that efforts are underway to activate party workers to fortify the party's base. Work is being done to extend organizational activities to the panchayat and booth levels and to connect more people with the party. The meeting also deliberated on making the party's organizational activities more effective and enhancing the active participation of workers.

Several prominent JDU leaders and workers were present at the welcome event, including State General Secretary Sushil Kumar Singh, State General Secretary Raju Kumar Singh, Dhanbad City President Dhanlal Dubey, Labor Cell In-charge Rajendra Rahi, Labor Cell District President Subhash Chandra Singh, District Vice President Shankar Chaurasia, District General Secretary Jhappu Sinha, and Naman Bharti. Also in attendance were Youth Cell District President Bablu Modak, Sakaldev Rai, Youth JDU State General Secretary Shankar Vidyarthi, BJP leader Tej Bahadur Singh, Abhishek Dubey, and other leaders and workers. They discussed organizational matters with the minister and emphasized advancing party activities in Jharkhand.
