JDU candidate Neeraj Kumar, contesting from the Patna Graduate constituency in the Bihar Legislative Council elections, suffered a sudden health setback. He experienced a heart attack on Monday afternoon while participating in a puja ceremony in Siwan district. Following the incident, he was immediately rushed to Patna.

Upon arrival in Patna, Neeraj Kumar was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Medanta Hospital. Doctors are closely monitoring his condition, and he is currently undergoing treatment under their supervision. Sources indicate that Kumar was in Siwan for a religious ceremony when he suddenly felt unwell and subsequently suffered a heart attack.
