Bihar Police successfully carried out a special drive across the state, resulting in the arrest of 39 criminals. This operation was launched with the primary objective of curbing criminal activities and maintaining law and order. Acting on directives from police headquarters, intensive raids were conducted in various districts, leading to the apprehension of wanted criminals, warrant defaulters, and individuals absconding in different cases.

According to police sources, the drive specifically targeted criminals who had long evaded arrest. Among those apprehended are individuals involved in serious offenses such as murder, robbery, theft, and dacoity. Police officials stated that this campaign is also crucial for bolstering security arrangements in view of upcoming festivals and elections.

During the special operation, police teams conducted overnight raids at various hideouts. In some instances, police encountered resistance from criminals, but due to vigilance and swift action, all 39 individuals were successfully arrested. Interrogations have commenced to gather information about their networks and accomplices.

The Director General of Police lauded the efforts of the police officers and personnel involved in this successful operation, affirming that such drives will continue to ensure complete control over crime and enhance public safety. This action is expected to deter criminals and send a strong message to lawbreakers.
