The Bihar government has approved development projects worth 1.67 crore rupees for three cities: Jhanjharpur, Tikari, and Arrah. These initiatives aim to strengthen infrastructure and provide better facilities for residents and commuters in these areas. The Department of Development and Housing has issued orders regarding these projects.

In Arrah, located in Bhojpur district, development schemes totaling approximately 30.28 lakh rupees will be implemented. This includes the construction of a PCC road and drainage system from the Cremation Ghat embankment to the main road within the Arrah Municipal Corporation area. This will improve road connectivity and resolve waterlogging issues in the city.

Tikari in Gaya district will see the construction of a modern bus stand, with the department allocating around 90 lakh rupees for the project. This endeavor is expected to enhance the transportation system and offer significant convenience to passengers.

Jhanjharpur in Madhubani district will also undergo development works. Approximately 46.36 lakh rupees have been sanctioned for the construction of a PCC road and drainage system from the main road to the Medical College Hospital. This will facilitate easier access for patients to the hospital and strengthen the overall infrastructure of the city. These projects are anticipated to bring about new systems and boost the local economy in these three cities.
